KA1 DING

The main objective of the project is for the youth workers to learn a series of techniques and knowledge about the importance of group work in the world of work, in order to be able to communicate it later to a large group of young people in their countries.
When, where and who will participate?
- In Madrid
- From the 8th to the 13th May 2022
- It has involved 26 participants between 20 and 30 years old from 8 different countries
- 3 participants per country
- The countries are: GREECE, PORTUGAL, FRANCE, ROMANIA, ITALY, BULGARIA, NETHERLANDS AND SPAIN
The KA1 DING Project involved a total of 26 youth workers from eight different countries who met in Madrid for a few days for a training programme. In addition, many young people from the partner countries have been involved, as they have been trained by the youth workers who took part in the project.
Group dynamics and group work are becoming increasingly important in the world of work. For this reason, MAD for Europe wanted to give great value to these initiatives because we believe that cooperating in groups is a great advantage, as well as an improvement, for each company and for each employee.
The idea of the project was to focus on improving and learning different techniques to work in groups, placing the youth workers in different realities that they will have to face once they start their first jobs. It has been a process of personal, cultural and professional growth.
The objectives and competencies that the young people acquired are:
- Develop new methods to combat some of the problems encountered today, such as early school failure among young people.
- Improve participants’ communication and teamwork skills
- Increase social activism through new creative tools for self-expression
- Foster a sense of European community among young people so that they can share ways of communicating and group work
- Improve language skills, as all activities will be conducted in English.
- Highlight the importance of cooperating in the workplace, using different techniques to enhance entrepreneurship in turn
- Use methods such as «Lego Serious Play» to prove that good teamwork is a very positive thing for the participants.
